Secondary Dwelling: Framing Begins

It's finally happening! After months of groundwork, planning, and concrete pours, the framing for our secondary dwelling is going up, and honestly, it's such a surreal moment.

Walking onto the site this week and seeing the skeletal structure rising from the slab was incredible. Those timber frames outlining where walls will stand, where rooms will be - it suddenly makes everything feel so real, but now you can actually walk through and start imagining the spaces.

The floor plan we've been staring at for months is suddenly standing right in front of us. We can't wait to see how it progresses from here. Windows, walls, and roofing are on the horizon, but for now, we're just enjoying this milestone moment.
