East Wing Foundation Pour
The East wing foundation pour is complete! Given the size of this house, we're tackling the concrete work in stages.
We got the East wing foundation poured today, and it feels good to have another section done. This house is big enough that we're breaking the concrete work into multiple pours.
The crew showed up ready to go, and roughly 18 concrete trucks rolled through to get this pour done. Watching them work never gets old. The pump truck did its thing, and the boys moved across the slab like they've done it a thousand times. There's something about seeing that fresh concrete flow into place that makes all the planning and prep feel worth it.
We've still got more pours ahead for the other sections, but we're keeping things moving. The weather cooperated, the team delivered, and we're one step closer. On to the next one.
